What does the Bible say about standing firm?
In every Christian’s life there will be trials, disappointments, persecution, and temptations, but through all this we must stand firm in Christ. We have to be on guard. Not only must we stand firm to these things, but we must stand firm to biblical truths.
Many People who profess to know Christ are compromising with the world and are twisting Scripture to suit their lifestyle.
We must get to know Scripture to watch out for false teachers to stand firm in the word of God. The devil will continually try to tempt you, but you must put on the full armor of God.
Your Christian life will be an ongoing battle against sin. We must not become discouraged. We must continually renew our minds.
We must continually spend time in the presence of the Lord. We must pray for courage and boldness to do the will of God. It is dangerous to drive and not pay attention to what’s in front of you.
We must keep our eyes in front of us on Christ and not the traffic around us. Don’t be confident in yourself. Be confident in Christ. You must remember to fight the good fight. Endure to the end. Blessed is the man who stands firm in the Lord during trials.

For this reason, take up the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand your ground on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand. Stand firm therefore, by fastening the belt of truth around your waist, by putting on the breastplate of righteousness.

25. 2 Chronicles 20:17 You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you.'”

2 Corinthians 1:20-22 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
I needed this encouragement as I face possibly leaving my job to an unknown future. May God have His way in my life, and I will not fear man.
