Being in God’s Word daily has helped me with my struggles. I’ve noticed that when I’m not in His Word and when I don’t spend time with Him my heart becomes depressed. Encouraging Christian quotes

“Let God’s promises shine on your problems.” – Corrie ten Boom

“Faith is not knowing what the future holds, but knowing Who holds the future.”

“The stars may fall, but God’s promises will stand and be fulfilled.” – J. I. Packer.

“True faith means holding nothing back. It means putting every hope in God’s fidelity to His Promises.”  ― Francis Chan

“When the world says, “Give up,” Hope whispers, “Try it one more time.”

“Everything God is preparing you for is worth the wait.”

The most encouraging verses to remind you that God is with you daily.

We tend to forget that God is with us in our trials. We forget the meaning of faith. Even though we might not see God or what He is doing, that does not mean that God is not working behind the scenes. God has not left you nor will He ever leave you. Satan will seek to lie to you and discourage you. “God has left you.” “It’s because you sinned.” However, these are the words of a liar. He is by your side. Who cares if you don’t know what He is doing. You’re not asked to know what He is doing. You’re told to trust in Him.

Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

Deuteronomy 31:8 “The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”

Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”

Romans 15:13 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Joshua 1:5 “No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Isaiah 43:2 “When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.”

Psalm 9:9-10 “The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. 10 Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.”

When you need to be uplifted and encouraged, remember that you are so loved by God.

Many believers struggle with understanding God’s love for them especially when they are going through trials. You have to be absolutely sure of God’s love for you. When you are sure of God’s love, then you can trust in His sovereignty. As believers we realize that God is in control and His love is greater than our problems. Immediately after you wake up, set your heart on God’s love and respond to His love with worship and praise.

Lamentations 3:22-23 “The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.”

Jeremiah 31:3 “The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.”

Zephaniah 3:17 “The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.”

Romans 8:37-39 “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

It encourages my soul to do God’s will.

These verses are a daily reminder to be in the will of God. “What do you desire of me today my Lord?” “Where do you desire me to go my Lord?” If we’re honest, we tend to follow our own will at times and our hearts begin to grow dull. There is so much joy in obedience. Not because we are trying to earn salvation or get joy from our performance rather than the perfect performance of Christ. There is joy in obedience because of who He is. When we do God’s will we’re trusting our Creator, our Savior, the One who loved us first with everything. We put our focus on Him and He comforts, He gives us confidence, He upholds us, He guides us, He works through us, and He encourages us. There is so much beauty in doing the will of God.

Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”

Psalm 119:13-15 “With my lips I recount all the laws that come from your mouth. I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches. I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways.”

Psalm 112:1 “Praise the LORD! How blessed is the man who fears the LORD, Who greatly delights in His commandments.”

How God sees you

It’s important to remember that our identity is found in Christ and not your imperfections. When God looks at a believer He sees the perfect work of His Son. It’s so easy to speak death and negative words to yourself. “I’m not good enough.” “I need to look more like this.”  However, instead of looking to ourselves we should look to Him. Our worth is found in Christ.

Song of Solomon 4:7 “You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you.”

Psalm 139:14 “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”

Matthew 5:14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.”

1 Peter 2:9 “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”

The best encouraging Scripture that remind us that God is our strength and our confidence.

As Christians, our strength should be found in Christ and this can only happen by having an intimate relationship with Him. When you submit to Christ and you are growing in your love relationship with Him, overcoming trials and the temptations of this world become easier. When you give your weaknesses to God and you fully rely upon the Lord you will come to know God’s strength in greater ways.

Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Psalm 28:7 “The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.”

1 Corinthians 16:13 “Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.”

Isaiah 40:31 “But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.”

2 Timothy 1:7 “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.”

Jeremiah 32:17 (ESV) “Ah, Lord GOD! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.”

1 Chronicles 16:11 (KJV) “Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.”

Work with the joy of the Lord

Change your attitude about work. Be joyful for the day that God has given you to honor Him in your work. Work is more than just a 9-5 job. Your work might be managing your home. Your work might be going to school. Your work might be going out to witness. It’s so easy to get bored of the normalcy of life. We have to change our perspective. We breathe for Him and we work knowing that God is going to get glory from our work. Whatever the Lord has placed for you, do it with all your might and with joy.

2 Chronicles 15:7 “But you, be strong and do not lose courage, for there is reward for your work.”

Colossians 3:17 “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

Psalm 90:17 “May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us yes, establish the work of our hands.”

Romans 15:13 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

I hope that these Bible verses have been a blessing to you.

Find a silent place where you can get alone with God daily. I guarantee you that as you grow in your love relationship you will be more encouraged on your walk with Him. Get to know Him and experience His presence. Don’t be afraid! God is going to encourage you, so you can become an encouragement to others. He was with you then, He is with you now, and He will be with you in the future.
