Bible Verses About the Prince of Peace

What does the Bible say about the Prince of Peace?

Do you long to experience the peace of Christ? Jesus is known as the ‘Prince of Peace.’ In Isaiah 9:6, the prophet foretells the Messiah’s birth, proclaiming Him as ‘Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.’ This title reveals Jesus as the One who brings ultimate peace and reconciliation with God through His sacrifice. By His life, death, and resurrection, He bridges the divide caused by sin, offering us peace with the Father. Even amid a chaotic world, Jesus assured His disciples, ‘Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you’ (John 16:33), promising a peace beyond comprehension. He reigns as the ruler of peace in the hearts of those who trust Him, and one day, He will return to establish perfect peace forever.
