Bible verses about witnessing to others
Whether it’s to unbelievers, Mormons, Catholics, Muslims, Jehovah Witnesses, etc. as Christians it is our job to advance the kingdom of God. Ask God to open doors to witness. Don’t be afraid and always preach the truth in love. People need to know about Christ. There is somebody at work who doesn’t know Christ. There is somebody in your family and you have friends who don’t know Christ. There is someone at church who doesn’t know Christ. You must not be afraid to share your faith to a non-believer. Humble yourself, be kind, patient, loving, honest and preach the truth. Most people’s eternal souls are in danger. Most people don’t know why they are on earth for. Share your testimony. Tell others what Christ has done for you. Pray for greater manifestations of the Holy Spirit and read God’s Word daily so you will be better equipped.
What does the Bible say?
1. Matthew 4:19 Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!” – (Missions Bible verses)
2. Isaiah 55:11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
3. Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
4. 1 Peter 3:15 Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your Christian hope, always be ready to explain it.
5. Mark 16:15-16 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (Baptism in the Bible)
6. Romans 10:15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” – (The God of the Bible is love)
7. Matthew 9:37-38 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
8. Matthew 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
Do not be ashamed
9. Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes–the Jew first and also the Gentile
10. 2 Timothy 1:8 So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God.
The Holy Spirit will help
11. Luke 12:12 For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.
12. Matthew 10:20 for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.
13. Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
14. 2 Timothy 1:7 for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
Preach the Gospel
15. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.
16. Romans 3:23-28 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus. Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. Because of what law? The law that requires works? No, because of the law that requires faith. For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.
17. John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
