Many people wonder, is yoga a sin? We always hear about Christians who practice yoga, but I believe they don’t know the truth. Yoga has demonic roots and can’t be separated from Hinduism and the goal is to be one with the universe.
Yoga produces a false idea that says you’re no longer the creation. Yoga takes away from the glory of God and it says everything is God. To connect to God you need Jesus. With yoga you’re trying to be one with God instead of being the creation.
Is doing yoga a sin in the Bible?
The Bible tells us that we are supposed meditate on the Word of God, it does not tell us to clear our minds.
Psalm 119:15-17 I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways. I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word. Be good to your servant while I live, that I may obey your word.
Psalm 104:34 May my meditation be pleasing to him, for I rejoice in the Lord.
Psalm 119:23-24 Princes also did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes. Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counselors.
Is yoga Christian?
There is no such thing as Christian yoga it’s just putting a Christian tag on something that’s demonic.
The devil is very crafty on how he makes people do things. You must always remember the story of Adam and Eve. Genesis 3:1, “Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, ‘Did God really say, You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”
Ephesians 6:11-13 Clothe yourselves with the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens. For this reason, take up the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand your ground on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand.

Romans 12:1-2 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons.
Is yoga bad for a Christian?
The Devil makes things that are bad seem so innocent but if it separates you from Jesus how is it innocent?
You’re opening up your body to spiritual attacks, evil influences, and to things that can draw you away from Christ like false religion. Yoga is not OK to do for Christians.
1 John 4:1 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

We must not believe every spirit, even though it may seem good.
Please if anyone wants to get closer to God pray and mediate on the Bible. Do not clear your mind and practice yoga.
