What does the Bible say about common sense?
In life, you will not get far without having common sense. Common sense tells us that there is a God. All it takes is stepping outside your door and looking all around you to see that there is a God. People disregard the scientific facts in the Bible. More and more Biblical prophecies are coming true. There are eye witness accounts of Jesus and the Bible being written. Though everything points to God, many people choose to say, “there is no God.” Common sense is essential. We develop common sense by learning, reading God’s Word, experience, reflecting, comparing the risks and rewards, and asking others.
Christian quotes about common sense
“It is easier to serve God without a vision, easier to work for God without a call, because then you are not bothered by what God requires; common sense is your guide, veneered over with Christian sentiment. You will be more prosperous and successful, more leisure-hearted, if you never realize the call of God.” Oswald Chambers
“Be persistent with your disturbance until you get face to face with the Lord himself. Don’t deify common sense.” Oswald Chambers
“Certainty is the mark of the commonsense life-gracious uncertainty is the mark of the spiritual life.” — Oswald Chambers
