Statement of faith
The Word of God
We believe the Bible, comprised of the Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.
2 Peter 1:20-21 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 5:18 For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.
The Trinity
There is not three separate Gods. There is only one God in three divine persons. The Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit.
Isaiah 44:6 Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: I am the first and I am the last, And there is no God besides Me.
Isaiah 43:11 I am the LORD, and besides me there is no savior.
Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Son of God
Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. He is fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and was born of the virgin Mary. We believe in His sinless life, miracles, death on the cross as the sacrifice for our sins, bodily resurrection and ascension into Heaven.
John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Luke 1:34-35 “How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?” The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.
Matthew 1:23 “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us).
Romans 3:25 God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood–to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished.
Salvation
Through the Fall of Adam, sin entered the world; and through sin came death, because all have sinned. We all deserve God’s Holy just wrath. We all deserve Hell because we have sinned before a Holy God. Out of God’s grace He sent His Son to live the life that we couldn’t and die the death that we deserve. Jesus paid our fine in full.
He died, He was buried, and He was resurrected for our sins. Salvation is not by works. Salvation is not by faith and works. Salvation is obtained by grace alone, through faith alone, in the work of Christ alone. God grants us belief and God grants us repentance.
Works are a result of faith in Christ alone. We obey not because it saves us, but because we are saved by His blood. We were made new by His grace and we are so thankful for His gift.
Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned.
Romans 3:27-28 Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. Because of what law? The law that requires works? No, because of the law that requires faith. For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast.
Philippians 1:29 For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him.
Acts 11:18 When they heard these things they fell silent. And they glorified God, saying, “Then to the Gentiles also God has granted repentance that leads to life.”

Our Mission
Bible Reasons is a website created to help Christians with their faith, draw people to repentance, and answer questions using the infallible Word of God. There are many deceitful churches and websites today that water down the gospel. Our goal is to glorify God, stand firm to biblical truths, and to help people build their relationship with Christ.
