False Gods

Bible verses about false gods

This evil world is filled with many false gods. Not even being aware of it you might have built an idol in your life. It can be your body, clothes, electronics, cell phone, etc.

21 Important Bible Verses About False Gods

It is easy to be obsessed and make something more important than God in our lives, that is why we must be on guard.

The false gods of America are sex, money of course, weed, drunkenness, cars, malls, sports, etc. If anyone loves the things of the world the love of the father is not in him.

When your life turns into it’s all about me and you become selfish, that is turning yourself into a god. The biggest day of idolatry is on a Sunday because many people are worshiping different gods.

Many people believe themselves to be saved, but aren’t and are praying to a god they made up in their mind. A god who doesn’t care if I live a continuous sinful lifestyle. A god who is all loving and doesn’t punish people.

Many people don’t know the true God of the Bible. False religions like Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and Catholicism are serving false gods and not the God of the Bible.

God is jealous and He will throw these people into hell for eternity. Be careful and trust in Christ alone because He is everything.

Blessed

1. Psalm 40:3-5 He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the LORD and put their trust in him. 4 Blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods. Many, LORD my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare.

No other gods.

3. Exodus 23:13 “Be careful to do everything I have said to you. Do not invoke the names of other gods; do not let them be heard on your lips.

14. 1 Corinthians 7:31 Those who use the things of the world should not become attached to them. For this world as we know it will soon pass away.
