What can Christian couples do in bed?
Have you ever wondered what can Christians do during sex? You’re not the only one. Many couples ask is it wrong for me and my spouse to do any sex position besides missionary? Would God find it acceptable you ask? Let’s look at what the Bible says.
Proverbs 5:18-19 “Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice in the wife of your youth, a lovely deer, a graceful doe. Let her breasts fill you at all times with delight; be intoxicated always in her.”
1 Corinthians 7:3-5 “A husband should fulfill his obligation to his wife, and a wife should do the same for her husband. A wife does not have authority over her own body, but her husband does. In the same way, a husband doesn’t have authority over his own body, but his wife does. Do not withhold yourselves from each other unless you agree to do so just for a set time, in order to devote yourselves to prayer. Then you should come together again so that Satan does not tempt you through your lack of self-control.”
Song of Solomon 4:3-5 “Your lips are like scarlet ribbon; your mouth is inviting. Your cheeks are like rosy pomegranates behind your veil. Your neck is as beautiful as the tower of David, jeweled with the shields of a thousand heroes. Your breasts are like two fawns, twin fawns of a gazelle grazing among the lilies.”
Genesis 1:27-28 “So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.”
Christian marriage bed positions
Christian sex life is amazing! Sex (within marriage) is a blessing from God and married couples are free to do any sex position they want, whether you want to do missionary or something else. Sex within marriage is God’s gift to us so you’re free to do whatever between (the two of you only). We are not to have threesomes and sex with multiple people nor are we allowed to bring pornography in the bedroom.
1 Thessalonians 4:2-4 “For you know what instructions we gave you by the authority of the Lord Jesus. It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable.”
We all have different sexual position preferences
You must not be afraid to talk with your spouse about your sexual preferences and anything regarding marriage and the bedroom. Have respect for one another. You can’t force someone to do something they don’t want to do.
1 Peter 3:7-8 “You husbands in the same way, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with someone weaker, since she is a woman; and show her honor as a fellow heir of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered. To sum up, all of you be harmonious, sympathetic, brotherly, kindhearted, and humble in spirit.”

Song of Solomon 4:16 “Awake, north wind, and come, south wind! Blow on my garden, that its fragrance may spread everywhere. Let my beloved come into his garden and taste its choice fruits.”
I appreciate the reference verses that clearly stress the points. We pondered over this issue with my wife and finally agreed that people are different and have different positions for love making.
I totally agree with you about anal sex being sinful. However, about oral sex,,I need to read more on this…thanks for your insight.
