God Is Our Refuge

Bible verses about God being our refuge

Whenever you’re in trouble or feel alone run to the Lord for help because He will never forsake you. He is our hiding place. In my life the Lord continues to get me through trials and He will help you as well. Stand firm, have faith, and put all your trust in Him.

Don’t try to get through the struggles of life by yourself because you will fail believe me. Be strong in the Lord and keep your mind on Him. Commit to Him in prayer, meditate on His Word, and continually give Him praise. He wants you to go to Him so do just that and you will get through it.

You will always find protection in the Lord when going through difficult times in life. Go into your prayer closet and tell God Lord I need you to be my refuge. You know what I’m going through. Give me shelter in this storm. I can’t do this without you. God will honor a prayer like this where there is total dependence on Him and nothing in the flesh.

Bonus

James 1:2-5 Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.
