God Being Our Hiding Place

Bible verses about God being our hiding place

Whenever the world gives you troubles, problems, or makes you afraid put God’s promises in your heart. You don’t need to fear, the Lord is always with you. For Christians, God is our secret immovable hiding place. He is our special fortress and whenever life overwhelms us we can always run to Him.

Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you as well. Hide in His comfort and encouragement. Seek Him through prayer and keep your mind on Him because God’s presence is near and you’re protected.

What does the Bible say?

1. Psalm 119:113-17 I hate those who are double-minded, But I love Your law. You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in your word. Examples

14. Isaiah 32:1-4  Behold, a king will reign in righteousness, and princes will rule in justice. Each will be like a hiding place from the wind, a shelter from the storm, like streams of water in a dry place, like the shade of a great rock in a weary land. Then the eyes of those who see will not be closed, and the ears of those who hear will give attention. The heart of the hasty will understand and know, and the tongue of the stammerers will hasten to speak distinctly.

15. 1 Samuel 19:1-3 And Saul spoke to Jonathan his son and to all his servants, that they should kill David. But Jonathan, Saul’s son, delighted much in David. And I will go out and stand beside my father in the field where you are, and I will speak to my father about you. And if I learn anything I will tell you.”
